Brand Image Assessments
Essentially speaking a brand is a promise. And all the elements that constitute a brand are the materialization of that promise. Although a large number of organizations believe in investing on this materialization it gets eroded as the very same organization grows. This materialization, which we conveniently call the brand image or identity, is a sensitive and a very powerful aspect of any organization. It can be seen that a brand image is directly proportional to the sales or business of any organization. In essence it covers a large part of what your organization communicates to all its consumers.
DQS in all its expertise of evaluating and assessing several facets of an organization proves to be a very strong player in streamlining all the elements involved in the delivery of your brand communication, especially when it comes to the service module of any business. Here is what DQS has to offer in this regard,
Development of assessment questionnaire, alignment with organizational priorities
And conduct of the assessment would be done based on the following:
- Organizational policy for positioning the Brand image covering the 4P’s of Marketing (Product, Price, Place & Promotion).
- The organizational processes supporting the 4Ps.
- The distribution & customer service strategies (Including the assessment of any tools used).
- Expectation of the retailer performance.
- Organization approach for the brand positioning with different target markets.
- Quality standards deployed.
- Review of the related organizational processes with brand image.
- Development of assessment questionnaire
- Screening of the assessment check sheet & alignment with the organizational Expectations.
- Determining the quantifiers for Assessment evidence collection including the Primary & secondary evidences for specific & generic conclusions. The quantifiers would cover the elements related to People, Processes, Infrastructure, Environment & Ambience, Service level requirements, Material usage like spares and equipment /tools used in repair services, Competency requirements for Personnel involved in servicing & repair activities.
- Determination of the sample selection.
- Categorization method for the evidences collected in the assessment

This program can be used as a basis for internal audits, for verifying the maturity of implemented management systems, and to demonstrate one’s own achievements to customers by way of a documented self-declaration. The system is measurable, so that all findings can lead to actions with the aim of continuous improvement.
e Learning – a tool for qualifying personnel at any level. e Learning provides staff members, experts and managers with an opportunity to ‘learn from the best’, and gives documented evidence of that knowledge. Learners are encouraged to broaden their horizons in the areas of management systems, standards, and auditing. Organisational Health Assessments
Organisational health in essence is about making a company work effectively by identifying loop¬holes, setting them right and thus increasing productivity and being cost effective. All these factors in turn enhance the Organizational health.
The advantage of organizational health is massive. By identifying areas of improvement and correcting them, processes run smoothly thus decreasing the time consumed per job.
With the current state of competition and the survival of the fittest becoming crucial, it is im-portant to develop a competitive advantage over the peers / competition. Organisational Health when right will enforce the proper functioning and thus enhance the success ratio of the organ¬isation in totality.
We at DQS India have our vision very much in sync with the fact that the Organisational Health of our customers is central to our business success and have the required capability and expertise to support organisations in their growth responding to the needs of Quality, Environ¬ment, Health, Safety, Processes, Finance, Customer Satisfaction and much more. Call us to help you reach the next level.
Promoting Safe Behaviour at work is critical to managing health and safety as behaviour turns systems and procedures into reality. On their own, good systems do not ensure successful health and safety management, as the level of success is determined by how organizations ‘live’ their systems.
Behaviour Based Systems (BBS)
Behaviour- based safety systems are typically introduced in organizations with established safety management systems who are seeking continuous improvement. Implementation of such a system requires,
- Committed senior management support
We at DQS India have developed a mutli-level approach that we believe will help implement a robust, healthy BBS at your organisation. This approach comprises of three phases,
Phase – 1:
Data collection through site walks, interviews, document reviews and related processes.
Phase – 2:
We conduct a process safety management and Lean Behaviour-Based Safety Management workshop spanning several days. This program lays the foundation to the safety culture at your workplace
Phase – 3:
We take the plan to reality. We execute the implementation plan based on criticality and cost effectiveness.
Process Safety Management (PSM)
PSM is a management program based on the implementation of key components across three vital touch points: People, Technology and Facilities. The PSM process is based on the control or elimination of hazards by addressing all the relevant components of site operations. We, at DQS India, apply 14 PSM elements to the three touch points to ensure maximum process safety.
The process followed:
- Is comprehensive when required by regulation
- Exceeds compliance when it makes good business sense
- Is applied in whole or in part to other operations consistent with commitment
We strongly believe that safety is good business and we implement PSM with the following underlying philosophy:
- Establishing an organisation-wide safety culture
- Providing Management Leadership involvement and commitment
- Achieve Business Safety Excellence through Operating discipline
Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
The process Hazards Analysis is a component of the PSM program. The key parts to a PHA include:
- Review of incidents, previous studies, process and facility
- Changes and process hazards
- Identify hazards
- Analysing risks
- Mitigating risks
- Incorporating inherently safe processing review
- Analysing human factors
The hazard identification and risk analysis steps use technologies such as
- Failure mode and effect
- Consequence analysis
- Facility siting studies
- Layers of protection Analysis
- Fault- free analysis
(Quantitative Risk Analysis is used only wherever it is justified)
Disaster Management (DM)
Disaster Management and recovery from a disaster is as important as the steps taken to prevent one in the first place. Our solutions help you:
- Prepare an emergency plan based on comprehensive data we receive from you. This requires a complete micro- level view into your organization, its line of business and work, people, vulnerability to disaster etc.
- We then provide training to various response groups bases on our plan
- DQS India then oversees and supervises a mock drill based on the plan and thereafter we suggest improvements in plan, preparedness levels and the hardware/software that is required to make this plan successful
